Dire
Dawn

For more than three thousand years after banishing the Shekmor, the Utavor Dalim have reigned supreme as the primary deities. The kingdom of Nimar sits complacent at the center of power, relying almost entirely on their gods to protect them. In the northwest, the town of Timsi is the home of a scholarly temple and a half-elf apprentice scribe, Indiras. Ostracized for her mixed heritage, Indiras struggles to find acceptance. Orphaned at a young age, she cherishes her mentor and the few friends she has made.

Everything changes when she returns home from an errand to find her entire town destroyed. At the temple that should have been protected from such devastation, she finds her beloved mentor wounded and dying. With his last bit of strength, he tells her of her friends capture and the dark nature of the assailants. As she offers up a desperate prayer, a mysterious figure appears in the moonlight and offers her the chance to avenge her mentor's death, save her friends, and stop the evil from destroying her world.

All power comes at a cost. Will she harness her new powers  and save her friends? Sacrifice her soul to save the world?
